Whoops
So, it has been over two months since last update, whoops. I've thought about posting sooner, but never actually got to it. The night is young and I've got a lot to do, but I decided to go for it anyhow, haha.
I've made even more progress with the weight loss. I am close to hitting a huge milestone. Three pounds away from dropping 40lbs. I've also lost about thee and a half inches off my waist and almost two inches in my neck. One step closer to a Walmart suit! LOL Seriously though, I feel better and and enjoying my lifestyle change. I refuse to call it a diet, because diets end, so I'm changing my life style. :-)
In other news, I've completed a 24 lesson training on Ministerial Development taught by Bro David K. Bernard, General Superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church International. I took thirty-six pages of notes that I need to type to refer back to later.
I'm slacking on the book project, but I'm doing some more reading again, so that I can have some good references. Some of these books are huge, in fact I'm currently reading one that is almost 280 pages and is a Phd level commentary. I enjoy reading. I enjoy reading things that others might find boring, just for the sake of learning. I'm guessing thats one of my amazing quarks.
I've had to redo the church website. This was because our web-host moved us to another server and something broke in the process. Now, they did warn me that if I made any changes in the config files, that things could break; I didn't listen; so, probably my fault. Rather than going in and figuring out what broke and how to fix it, I took the easy route and switched CMS software to a lighter weight one and it actually looks nicer than before. I'm probably going to stick with that software for my own site when I find the right theme, but that will be a slow moving process.
Well, I've got some studying to do. I might be speaking tomorrow night, but I know I will be speaking for a few minutes on Sunday evening. I've definitely got to go, so I can spend some time on that.
So Until Next Time
